Vitor Cervi Design & Animation Info
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Descendents, and when their album Hypercaffium Spazzinate came out in 2016, I decided to make this animation as a homage to their career and the amazing music they make.
Inspired by the song lyrics, the music video follows the singer Milo Aukerman having a nightmare about going on diet. While working on it, I tried not to lose the spirit of a school kid making perverted drawings on a notebook.
I was very influenced by their album covers and promotional material, which almost always have a two-dimensional render of Aukerman, and by the art of Chris Shary, who often works with the group.

The band loved the animation, and the music video was released officially by their label Epitaph Records.
